Ruthie will be talking to host Lesley Garrett and performing live in the studio.

On Sunday 14 December 2008 on BBC1 Ruthie joins Aled Jones at the Royal Albert Hall in front of a packed auditorium of Songs Of Praise viewers who will raise the roof in the annual Big Sing Christmas Gifts.
Spotlight on Ruthie Henshall

At 3pm on 15 January 2009 Ruthie will be talking to theatre critic Mark Shenton about her career.
This unique event at the Shaw Theatre, London (next to the British Library) will also include an audience Q&A session.
The Spotlight On...series where drama students and fans of the musical learn from the creative giants of the craft was devised by Neil Marcus and Elaine Paige. Alumni to date include Chita Rivera, Elaine Stritch, Don Black, Michael Ball, Michael Feinstein, Charles Strouse, Stiles and Drewe, Willy Russell and Nick Hytner. The current season is Maria Friedman, Ruthie Henshall and Michel Legrand.
